Flower of the Day: Tulips

Tulips and Parrot Tulips

I was thinking about the trip Chad and I took in last April to North Western Washington to visit the Tulip fields. We were a little early and saw mostly daffodils but we did see some gorgeous red and yellow tulip fields. Tulips are a fragile flower but I like them in mass quantities. The above board mixes and matches tulips, parrot tulips with hydrangea, carnations, hyacinths, and roses.

Springtime Romance: Pale Yellow and Light Pink

Latte, Cream, Mocha and Milk Chocolate

This inspiration board makes me hungry. I love coffee flavored sweets and the smell of freshly ground coffee. The browns are gorgeous and go well with a variety of skin tones. The uses for coffee beans from decor to favors are endless. Imagine how good it would all smell too!

Cream & Tan with Pale Blue and Green Accents

The combo of cream and tan together is very elegant, but I also like a little pop of color. Pale blue and green lend a nice spring air to the board.

Obsession: Triple Split Shank Rings

I fell in love with the triple shank design at... Costco, of all places. The above ring is different as the setting is higher and the diamond is perpendicular to the bands, whereas the Costco ring is more inlaid into the shanks and parallel with the middle band. I would post a picture of it but they don't have it online. It's my favorite ring by far, call me crazy but Costco is doing something right.
